Needing content for the multitude of 24-hour psudeo-news channels and their plethora of pundit programs, we have already seen the "what does a rabbit and eggs have to do with easter" debates start, three weeks before Easter. Indeed, you know the issue is squarely in the months collective zeitgeist when Colbert starts his "War On Easter" segments.

Personally, I like comedian Jim Gaffigans take on it:
"Easter, the day Jesus rose from the dead, what should we do?"
"HOW 'BOUT EGGS?"
"Well what does that have to do with Jesus?"
"ALRIGHT, WE"LL HIDE THEM!"
