Quandary

I have come to a morale crossroads. I have reached a deep, philosophical-metaphysical dilemna. Whilst breathing the perfumed rose of friendship, I have inhaled a nostril of thorns. While blissfully traversing the river of life, I have been brought to the waterfall of decision.

I now find myself in need of your advice my good blogospherical companions, in order to guide me through this treacherous ravine, this cavernous gulf, this personal hell.

After years of a close and very fulfilling friendship, one of my closest mates has made the decision to support Arsenal.

My god. What can I do?

what's wrong with arsenal???
they are the only english premier league team that I have any time for.
The first english team i ever came across as a kid was arsenal, 30+ yrs ago.

By the way got the TWiT podcasts.
Justin you have been living in the US for way too long!!!
It is non stop name dropping of commercial products, hiding under the guise of an independent commercial free podcast!!
Perhaps that's how conversations are in the US, using name brands vs generics.
( I seem to recall hearing that here in australia in pubs we order using genric names while in the US they use brand names. i.e.vodka, whiskey, vs. stoli, JD)

I found listening to them incredibly annoying. I was a big fan of the screensavers and watched them all the time during my trips to north america but TWiT while entertaining sounds like one long ad (even when they bag product) to my ears.

PS. have you seen blogshare, you are rated ~24

My dear Aussie, you are surprised by what your friend has done? It sounds to me as if this person is most likely an American and we *all* know what Americans are like.

Back stabbing.

To that end, I'd suggest never speaking to this friend again and for that matter, any other American. Further, you'd most likely best be served to head back across the big pond now leaving all relations behind as quickly as possible. Certainly before he changes his mind yet again to become a dreaded Chelsea fan...

While sad indeed, at least you can then leave knowing that you didn't get sucked into the bonds of holy matrimony with one of their kind!

My $.Q2, get out while you can.

I'm sorry for your loss. But your choice is clear.

Cut off all ties.

Dump the bastard. Sorry, but Arsenal fans are the vermin of the earth and should be crushed underfoot whenever possible. I mean that in the nicest possible way, of course.

And if it's Brad, even better.

Seems I will have to settle for the fact that Arsenal are featuring almost more injury woes than Man Utd... natural attrition is more effective than a new supporter!
